I’m kicking myself right now that I haven’t made more crock-pot chicken. Or used a crock-pot regularly, period! It’s literally the quickest and easiest way to make juicy, flavorful, chicken.
This pulled BBQ chicken is super versatile (and husband-approved)! Serve it over rice, in a taco, wrap, on a roll, or on a pizza or pita pizza.
Fueling perks:
- 1/2 cup has 15 grams of protein
- Pre-workout: pair with carbs and color 2-4 hours before a session
- Post-workout: pair with carbs and color within 2 hours of a session
The Stuff
- 3 lbs of chicken breast
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 cups of BBQ sauce
The Steps
- In a small bowl or measuring cup, mix spices
- Sprinkle evenly over chicken
- Pour BBQ sauce evenly over chicken
